JMG USA Introduces 63-Ton Capacity Pick-and-Carry Crane

New MC 580 offers industry-leading lift capability for interior worksites

JMG USA, exclusive U.S. distributor of JMG pick-and-carry cranes, has introduced the MC 580, the largest JMG crane available in the U.S. market.

MC 580

This versatile crane, which can be driven or operated via radio remote, has a maximum lifting capacity of more than 63 tons, and has a reach of 47' (with extensions).

The MC 580's Electronic Load Moment Indicator (LMI) delivers some of the industry's most precise control and safety measures. It displays the weight of the load lifted, the maximum admitted load, tilting percentage, operating radius, angle, outreach and more. It also includes a series of warning indicators to alert an operator of abnormal status conditions.

The new model is fully electric, eliminating exhaust fumes, noise and the risk of leaking. It is available in non-marking, white treads, making it ideal for lifting massive loads in interior worksites.

The JMG crane's unique design of self- propelled pick-and-carry cranes provides front-wheel power, enabling higher load capacity than similar-sized cranes. JMG cranes, which are available in capacity ranges from 2-63 tons, are capable of hoisting and placing loads without the need for stabilizers.

JMG cranes offer advantages to users in a wide range of industries: power generation and distribution, water and sewage treatment, chemical manufacturers, refineries, precast or prefabricated concrete or other structures, glass installation, and aerospace, among others.

JMG USA Closes a Successful Con Expo 2017

JMG USA drew an enthusiastic response to its exhibit during the 2017 Con Expo trade show in Las Vegas, March 7-11. JMG USA displayed a variety of pick-and-carry cranes of different lifting and reaching capacities.

Con Expo 2017

The show, which included 2.5 million square feet of exhibitor space, drew more than 120,000 visitors. Attendees who stopped by the JMG USA booth showed special interest in the JMG MC85 pick-and-carry crane.

What made the MC85 such an attraction this year was the overall recognition of the versatility of a pick-and-carry crane of this size: the MC85 has the capacity to lift more than 18,500 lbs. and has a reach of 28', but still has excellent mobility, and can be driven or operated via radio remote.

JMG USA Northeast District Sales Manager Mike Brooks Jr. recognized a change in tone throughout the five-day show: "People are engaging in more optimistic, long-term planning, rather than just purchasing for a single job," he said.

Con Expo is one of the largest exhibitions of heavy equipment in the world. It is held every three years for the construction and concrete industries.
